Amber is fossilized, petrified resin from millions of years old conifers, known for its warm colors (yellow, orange, red), but also blue, green, or black, often containing insect or plant remains. It is not a mineral, but an organic material (fossilized resin) that is light, generates static electricity, and is traditionally used in jewelry and as a medicine (in both modern and alternative medicine).
